The Life of a Honey bee ($180-$350)
* Final rate is determined by location, class size and activity chosen.
We will explore the similarities among look-alikes, dive into the role of beekeepers, explore hive tools and try on outfits. Discover the magic of pollination, honey production, the lifecycle and duties of bees. Engage in a fun Q&A session, followed by an active game to reinforce what we've learned. You will also choose from a variety of hands-on activities, like honey tasting or creating beeswax crafts, tailored to your age group!
I have an Observation Hive and can bring live bees indoors or outdoors (weather dependent) from May-August. I will bring a replica of an active hive from September-April.

NEW CLASS!! Beginner Beekeeping ($180-$350)

This classroom based introduction takes you into the beekeeping world providing an overview of the life of a honey bee, the beekeeper’s involvement and how to get started. The class is designed for beginners so you can walk in knowing absolutely nothing about bees and walk out ready to get started with your own backyard beehive! Participants will also have the opportunity to explore equipment and taste several different honey flavors.
